In accordance
with the terms of 5 CFR 1320, the collection of information is
disapproved. APHIS published an interim final rule related to
Brucellosis on December 27, 2010, but failed to request approval of
the these associated information collections at this time. OMB
understands that the information has not been collected. During the
comment period, APHIS received comments questioning both the burden
and the practical utility of the information being required by the
rule. OMB understands that APHIS intends to submit for interagency
review a final rule that responds to these comments and makes
whatever changes to the requirements that APHIS has found to be
warranted. Until such time as the final rule is in place and APHIS
has received approval of the revised information collections, this
request is not approved.
