Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Part 239, Acquisition of Information Technology, and associated clauses at DFARS 252.239-7000 and 252.239-7006
Part 239 of the DFARS prescribes policies and procedures for security and privacy of computer systems, acquisitions of information technology by DOD contractors, and acquisition of telecommunications services. Respondents are DOD contractors providing information necessary to protect sensitive information and to ensure that DOD pays reasonable prices for telecommunications services and special construction associated with telecommunications services.
The changes in the burden hours are based on an adjustment and increase in the estimated number of respondents and responses, using FY 2013 FPDS data and based on consultation DoD Personnel. The estimated change in the estimated cost is due to using more current cost per hour data.
