SUBJECT:

DMDC Review of Student and Parent Perception Surveys

(Note: This survey was previously reviewed and recommended for approval by DMDC in Fall
2013. Due to a miscommunication the DMDC recommendation letter was never sent up. It is
being sent up now.)
As requested, DMDC-HRSAP has reviewed the subject study protocol and its supporting
materials. The concerns raised in our reviews have been adequately addressed. We recommend
that the Student and Parent Perception Surveys be approved and licensed under DoDI 1100.13
and DoDI 8910.01, respectively.
DMDC’s recommendation for approval is not the final action required. The study
materials must also be reviewed by a DoD Privacy Office official, a Human Resource Protection
Program (HRPP) official, a Records Management official, a DoD CIO official, and the
Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) for approval and licensing under DoDI 8910.01.
