This study will use 28 key informant interviews to explore attitudes and beliefs of public school assistant superintendents and/or curriculum coordinators as to the inclusion and integration of workplace safety and health skills (within the area of life skills) in academic, career technical and vocational training programs in middle and high schools. These interviews will collect information on the receptivity of the school systems to incorporate workplace safety and health competencies for adolescents (young workers) as a vital component of their curricula within both academic and vocational education programs at the middle and high school level.
