Comments

30-day notice.

The Department of Homeland
Security (DHS), U.S. Citizenship and
Immigration Services (USCIS) will be
submitting the following information
collection request to the Office of
Management and Budget (OMB) for
review and clearance in accordance
with the Paperwork Reduction Act of
1995. The information collection notice
was previously published in the Federal
Register on October 9, 2014, at 79 FR
61090, allowing for a 60-day public
comment period. USCIS did receive 3
comments in connection with the 60day notice.
DATES: The purpose of this notice is to
allow an additional 30 days for public
comments. Comments are encouraged
and will be accepted until January 20,
2015. This process is conducted in
accordance with 5 CFR 1320.10.

Refugee/Asylee Relative Petition.

the applicable component of the DHS
sponsoring the collection: I–730; USCIS.
(4) Affected public who will be asked
or required to respond, as well as a brief
abstract: Primary: Individuals or
households. Form I–730 is used by a
refugee or asylee to file on behalf of his
or her spouse and/or children for
follow-to-join benefits provided that the
relationship to the refugee/asylee
existed prior to their admission to the
United States.
(5) An estimate of the total number of
respondents and the amount of time
estimated for an average respondent to
respond: 86,400.
(6) An estimate of the total public
burden (in hours) associated with the
collection: 57,600.

The Department of Homeland
Security (DHS), U.S. Citizenship and
Immigration Services (USCIS) invites
the general public and other Federal
agencies to comment upon this
proposed extension of a currently
approved collection of information. In
accordance with the Paperwork
Reduction Act (PRA) of 1995, the
information collection notice is
published in the Federal Register to
obtain comments regarding the nature of
the information collection, the
categories of respondents, the estimated
burden (i.e. the time, effort, and
resources used by the respondents to
respond), the estimated cost to the
respondent, and the actual information
collection instruments.

collected through Form N–426 to
request a verification of the military or
naval service claim by an applicant
filing for naturalization on the basis of
honorable service in the U.S. armed
forces.

respond: The estimated total number of
respondents for the information
collection N–426 is 10,000 and the
estimated hour burden per response is
1.17 hours.
(6) An estimate of the total public

collection: The total estimated annual
hour burden associated with this
collection is 3,330 hours.
