OMB appreciates
that Treasury is in the early stages of evaluating the My Classroom
Economy program, however, Treasury’s evaluation effort does not
fully adhere to good practices in the field of educational
research. In reviewing these results, researching the impacts of
this program further, or potentially scaling up the My Classroom
Economy program, Treasury must convene a technical advisory group
in consultation with the Department of Education’s Institution of
Education Sciences (IES) and National Center for Education
Evaluation and Regional Assistance (NCEE).
