Abstract: The regulations under the FPLA establish requirements for the manner and form of labeling consumer commodities. They require disclosure of package identity, net quantity of contents, and the name and location of the company responsible for the product. The information required to be disclosed by these regulations is used by consumers to make informed product value comparisons and purchasing decisions.
