Abstract: This information collection request (ICR) will be used to enable providers to register their ELDs with FMCSA. ELDs will also enable motor carriers and drivers to more efficiently comply with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations. FMCSA published functional specifications ELDs to help ensure consistency among manufacturers and devices. Providers' certification of compliance to these functional specifications is required.
