KEY INFORMANT INTERVIEW GUIDE

First, let’s talk about your involvement in the NORA Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing Sector Council.

1. How long have you been involved in the Sector Council?

   1. What was the first in-person meeting you attended?

2. What motivated you to join the Sector Council?

The next set of questions are about your perspective on the structure and processes of the Sector Council.

3. In what ways is the current Sector Council membership composition effective and efficient?

4. How do you think the annual meetings might be modified to facilitate the collaboration of all the members on a new project or initiative?

5. In your view, how do you see decisions being made within the structure of the Sector Council?

1. In what ways could decision-making processes be improved?

6. How do you make your partners aware of ongoing Council activities?

The next set of questions are about the Leadership and Management.

7. Thinking about the overall Sector Council, what do you think are the strengths of the leadership and management?

8. What do you think are the weaknesses and challenges to leadership and management of the Sector Council?

9. Now, thinking just about any working groups you participate in, what are the strengths of the leadership and management of that group?

10. What are the weaknesses and challenges to the leadership and management of that group?

11. How do you think the leadership and management weaknesses and challenges you have identified can be overcome?
