Grant applications provide information
needed to determine eligibility and soundness for funding.
Semiannual narrative reports, prepared by the grantees, provide
information used for grant oversight. Applications are submitted by
public and private institutions and individuals for support of
documentary editing and historical records project.
Approximately 144 respondents
submit an application per year; 45 grantees need to submit revised
budgets. The hour burden for initial grant submissions is 10 hours
* 44 = 1,440. The hour burden for the 45 grantees that need to
submit revised budgets is 5 hours (45 * 5 = 225). Thus the grand
total for both is 1,665.
