To improve the timely measurement of
business dynamics in the United States by conducting the Annual
Survey of Entrepreneurs (ASE). Data would be used by government
programs, industry leaders, economics and social
analysts/researchers and entrepreneurs. Data world be used to
assess business assistance needs; plan, direct and assess programs
and analyze economic conditions. The data are needed to evaluate
the extend and growth of business ownership by women minorities,
and veterans. ASE is a sample survey of 290,000 employer businesses
that report business activity to the IRS (Forms 941, 944,
1120).
On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that
the collection of information encompassed by this request complies
with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR
1320.8(b)(3).
