This is a request for an 83C approval to the current information collection. The data collection instrument is used to collect specific information and performance data for analysis of the experiments. This reporting will assist the Department of Education (ED) in obtaining and compiling information to help determine change in the administration and delivery of Title IV programs. Institutions have volunteered to participate in the experiments to provide recommendations on the impact and effectiveness of the experiments and management initiatives. We are requesting a decrease in the number of questions that participating institutions must report to the Department of Education (ED) from 37 to 17. This streamlining is being done to provide an easier method of reporting consistent and factual data. By this change ED is also decreasing the burden on each institution from 11 hours to 6 hours of burden despite the increase in the number of participating institutions.
