The adjustment on the 83i is due to: 1) The change in the number of PHA respondents. The decrease in the number of PHA respondents reflects the number of PHAs in HUD's system as of the end of January 2015. 2) The change in the burden hours (and costs) for respondents. The burden hours (and costs) have decreased because the compensation data/salary breakdown collected will be copied from the employees' W-2. Previously PHAs were required to calculate the employee compensation data based on analysis of rules published for various IRS forms.
