SUBJECT: Request for Emergency Clearance

FNS is submitting a request for “Emergency Clearance” for the Interim Final Rule
“SNAP Requirement for National Directory of New Hires Employment Verification and
Annual Program Activity Reporting,” which published in the Federal Register on January
26, 2016, at 81 FR 4159. The rule published as Interim Final without a prior Proposed
rule, as designated by OIRA. This action therefore requires submission to OIRA via an
emergency clearance.
