Prior to the
commencement of the Annual Survey of Foreign Ocean Carriers'
Expenses in the United States survey distribution, the Bureau of
Economic Analysis shall provide on its Internet site prominent
links to a complete set of finalized survey forms, including
instructions and cover letters.

The BE-29, annual survey is used to
obtain data for preparation of the transportation accounts of the
U.S. International Transactions Accounts. Data are obtained from
U.S. agents of foreign ocean carriers operating in the United
States.
This request is for an
extension without change of a currently approved collection. The
estimated change in the burden hours is a decrease of 9 hours (from
229 to 220). There has been an overall decrease, from 72 to 70, in
the estimated number of respondents meeting the (unchanged)
mandatory requirements for filing on an annual basis. Additionally,
there has been an overall decrease, from 13 to 10, in the estimated
number of respondents that would file exemption claims.
