Abstract: The collected data will be used for developing borough and census area (BCA)-level regional economic models for the Southwest Alaska fishing industry. Accurate and updated fishing industry data about labor and other expenditures for operating fishing vessels are not currently available. The survey response information will be incorporated into models that will provide more reliable information about economic impacts to communities from fishery management policy decisions. This change is to remove the online survey option.
