Confirm how you would like your organization to be referenced on the program website and other program material.
Define your organization’s goal for reducing energy intensity across your portfolio. Include the percent reduction in energy intensity, the baseline year, and the year of completion (e.g., 20% Reduction in Energy Intensity by 2025, from a 2015 baseline).
Provide the total square footage of buildings in your portfolio that are included in your BBC commitment. For municipal partners with private sector commitments, include public and private sector sq. ft. commitments separately. For industrial partners, include the number of plants and total facilities. Multifamily partners should also include the number of units.
Provide 2-3 sentences of background information on your organization and its building portfolio (e.g., common building types), as well as any previous energy efficiency strategies or successes. Suggested maximum of 100 words.
Describe your organization’s commitment to the Better Buildings Challenge, including any specific actions or measures that you will take in order to meet the Challenge goal. Suggested maximum of 200 words.
Provide your organization’s logo as an attachment for placement on your profile page.

This data is being collected to support the Department of Energy Better Buildings Initiative. The data you supply will be used for developing best practices to facilitate reductions in energy intensity by commercial, manufacturing, and community organizations.
Public reporting burden for this collection of information is estimated to average 0.5 hours per response, including the time for reviewing instructions, searching existing data sources, gathering and maintaining the data needed, and completing and reviewing the collection of information.
