To provide more timely and efficient
services to the growing number of SNAP applicants, State and local
SNAP offices are partnering with community-based organizations
(CBOs) that have the capacity to conduct applicant interviews for
SNAP. In order to assess the impact of these partnerships on SNAP
performance, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) FNS is
requesting Office of Management and Budget (OMB) approval to
collect information from participating SNAP offices and partnering
CBOs, as well as from a sample of SNAP participants.
