Abstract: The National Geospatial Program (NGP) of the US Geological Survey (USGS) provides funding to collect, archive and disseminate base layer geospatial data as part of The National Map. We accept applications from State, Local or Tribal governments; nonprofit, nongovernmental organizations; and academic institutions to advance the development of The National Map and other national geospatial databases.

Short Statement: Based upon participation during the past three years, we expect the number of requests to almost double. The quarterly reports have been changed to monthly reports to provide insight into project progress or delays.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
