On January 29, 2010, the Commission released the Order, Digital Audio Broadcasting Systems and Their Impact on the Terrestrial Radio Broadcast Service, DA 10-208, MM Docket 99-325. This Order adopts changes in our digital audio broadcasting ("DAB") technical rules to permit FM stations to voluntarily increase FM hybrid digital effective radiated power from the current maximum permissible level of one percent of authorized analog effective radiated power up to a maximum of 10% of authorized FM Analog Effective Radiated Power (ERP).
