The Teacher Incentive Fund (TIF) is a competitive grant program through the Department of Education, Office of Innovation and Improvement. The TIF is designed to support projects that develop and implement performance-based compensation systems for teachers, principals, and other personnel in order to increase educator effectiveness and student achievement in high-need schools.
The TIF application through the Office of Innovation and Improvement is a new data collection with a program change increase of an estimated 29,760 annual burden hours.
