The NAM Program seeks to improve academic outcomes in English for Native American and Alaska Native (NA/AN) students, providing funding for programs that support language instruction educational programs, including NA/AN language and culture revitalization. The goal of this study is to describe how 22 current grantees have used the NAM Program to support NA/AN students. Results will help the Department structure future funding rounds and better support current and future grantees.
