Section 3005 of Subtitle C of the
Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) requires owners or
operators of a facility that treats, stores, or disposes of
regulated wastes to obtain a permit.
US Code:

USC 6924 Name of Law: Solid Waste Disposal Act
US Code: 42
USC 6925 Name of Law: Solid Waste Disposal Act
There is an increase of 1,257
hours in the total estimated respondent burden compared with the
ICR currently approved by OMB. This increase is due to the larger
number of affected facilities, based on the current information and
reporting requirements from the RCRAInfo database. The non-labor
cost burden for this renewal increased by $2,943,843. This increase
was due to a miscalculation of the non-labor cost for the previous
ICR. The estimate for this renewal is more consistent with past
renewals. These revisions do not reflect any change in the Part B
requirements; they represent instead an updated representation of
the number of respondents submitting renewal applications.
