Abstract: The Board is proposing revisions to a prior rule proposal in EP 724 (Sub-No.4). These rules propose the collection of certain rail service data (primarily weekly, but some semi-annually, and some on occasion). The new information collection from Class I Carriers would allow the Board to better understand current service issues and potentially to identify and resolve possible future regional and national service disruptions more quickly.
