Interview Script
Thank you for taking the time out of your day to share your thoughts regarding your PHEMF experience with me.
The goal of this project is to gain the perspectives of past fellows to enhance the PHEMF. To gain your perspective, we will be inquiring about how participation in the PHEMF influenced your career path, your insight into the evolution of the emergency management, if you have utilized the networks established during your stint in Atlanta, and if the knowledge gained during the fellowship has been an asset in developing the PHEM capacity of your country. Through providing your insight we are allowed an earnest evaluation of the services we provide and have the opportunity to gain more cultural perspective on global security.
You have been requested to participate in this interview as you have a unique perspective that few public health professionals around the globe can elaborate upon. Your opinion is valued, and an essential element needed for continued program progression. There are no correct or incorrect answers, any question you prefer to omit is acceptable, and the interview may end upon your request. We ensure you that this conversation is completely confidential, and the contents of this interview will only be used for the purpose of this project.
Is it all right for me to continue?
