Purpose of this survey:

The Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, as amended (ESEA), provides funds to States and districts to improve the quality of their teaching and principal force and raise student achievement. These funds are provided to States and districts through Title II, Part A (Improving Teacher Quality State Grants). The purpose of this survey is for the U.S. Department of Education to gain a better understanding of how States are using their Title II, Part A funds. We welcome your input and appreciate your completing this survey.
