Subject: Opportunity to participate in CDC laboratory professional development feedback sessions
Calling all clinical laboratory staff! The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Division of Laboratory Systems (DLS) wants to hear from you! CDC is conducting focus groups to gather feedback to help improve its current portfolio of laboratory training and professional development resources and to help shape its future offerings. CDC would like to gather perspectives from a spectrum of laboratory staff — including new laboratory hires, experienced bench-level professionals, and mid-level managers/supervisors— even if you aren’t yet familiar with any of the available resources. By sharing your thoughts, you can help CDC improve its portfolio of laboratory training and professional development resources to meet the needs of the laboratory workforce.
CDC is conducting the focus groups between April – June 2019 both virtually and in-person at [select meetings or conferences]. Each session will last an hour. While we sincerely hope you will join in this effort, your participation is voluntary. CDC will keep all participant information and comments confidential. The feedback from all focus groups will be used in aggregate only, and no individual names or other identifying information will be kept or linked to specific responses.
