The affected entities are subject to
the General Provisions of the NSPS at 40 CFR part 60, subpart A,
and any changes, or additions to the Provisions specified at 40 CFR
part 60, subparts G and Ga. Owners or operators of the affected
facilities must submit initial notification, performance tests, and
periodic reports and results. Owners or operators are also required
to maintain records of the occurrence and duration of any startup,
shutdown, or malfunction in the operation of an affected facility,
or any period during which the monitoring system is inoperative.
Reports, at a minimum, are required semiannually.
There is an adjustment increase
in the total estimated burden as currently identified in the OMB
Inventory of Approved Burdens. This increase is not due to any
program changes. The change in the burden and cost estimates
occurred due to industry growth in the past three years, resulting
in an additional number of respondents that have become subject to
Subpart Ga. Additionally, this ICR assumes that all respondents
will have to familiarize themselves with regulatory requirements
each year. These changes result in an increase in the number of
responses, labor hours and costs, and total O&M costs.
