SAMHSA has made an investment in beginning to scale up Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) and Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA). These mental health literacy curricula advance our mission to reduce the impact of substance abuse and mental illness on America’s communities. The evaluation will test whether state education agency-based, school district-based, or community-based grant programs are more successful at achieving program goals and outcomes.
