The purpose of this collection is to
amend the fruits and vegetables regulations to allow the
importation of mangoes from India into the continental United
States. The mangoes would have to undergo irradiation treatment and
be accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate with additional
declarations.
The reinstatement of this
information collection resulted in a program change of +75
respondents, +93,719 total annual responses, and +1,710 total
burden hours. APHIS is now accounting for the following burden
entries that were not included in the previous information
collection: Orchard Mutual Agreements, Irradiation Treatment
Package Labeling, Treatment Certification, and Denial/Withdrawal of
Facility Certification.
