Consortium Lead Institutions

Dear ____________:

The U.S. Department of Labor is sponsoring the National Evaluation of the TAACCCT Grant Program through a contract with Abt Associates and its partner, the Urban Institute. The goals of the TAACCCT National Evaluation are to document and describe the similarities and differences among the programs developed by grant recipients across a number of dimensions, examine the implementation of the initiatives, and identify promising strategies and implementation challenges.

As part of the TAACCCT National Evaluation, you will receive an online survey being administered to all participating Round 4 TAACCCT colleges on XXXXXX, September XX, 2017. As you will recall, your grant agreement specifies participation in a Department-sponsored evaluation of the TAACCCT Grant Program is required by grant recipients. Your participation is vital to the Department and its ability to document and describe the programs and activities that were implemented as a part of the grants.

Each of the colleges in your consortium will also receive the survey. As the lead institution for a consortium grant, we request that you encourage your member colleges to complete the survey. An email was sent out to all consortia grant leads on August XX, requesting contact information for member colleges. If you have not already done so, please send the Urban Institute contact information for each of your consortium member colleges (full name and email address) to [email protected] by XXXXXX, August XX, 2017.

The TAACCCT National Evaluation Team will send the online survey via email from [email protected]. If you are not the correct person to complete the survey for your college, or if you have any questions about completing the survey, please contact the Urban Institute by email at [email protected] or by telephone at 1-855-353-4982. For additional information about the national evaluation, please contact the TAACCCT National Evaluation Team at [email protected].

Thank you for your assistance with the study. The results will be important for both the Department and other organizations in developing and investing in similar training programs.

Sincerely,

The TAACCCT Program Office
