The Railroad Retirement Act provides
disability annuities for qualified railroad employees whose
physical or mental condition renders them incapable of working in
their regular occupation (occupational disability) or any
occupation (total disability). The medical reports obtain
information needed for determining the nature and severity of the
impairment.

With the addition of new Form
Rl-11D1, the annual responses will increase by 600, from 35,900 to
36,500 and the burden hours will increase by 200, from 10,001 to
10,201. We are showing the increase as a program change.
