This is an emergency request to allow
the adoption of the new confidentiality statement as required by
the Federal Cyber security Enhancement Act of 2015 for all NASS
surveys.
As part of the
Consolidated Appropriations Act for Fiscal Year 2016 signed on
December 17, 2015, the Congress included the Federal Cyber security
Enhancement Act of 2015 (H.R. 2029, Division N, Title II, Subtitle
B, Sec. 223). This Act, among other provisions, permits and
requires the Secretary of Homeland Security to provide federal
civilian agencies’ information technology systems with cyber
security protection for their Internet traffic.
