The current approved OMB inventory for this collection includes 261,313 burden hours. In this submission, we are requesting a total of 92,786 burden hours; which represents an adjustment decrease of 168,527 hours. This decrease is due to feedback on the hour burden received from respondents; as well as no environmental events from 2013-2016, decreasing respondents reporting of information to BSEE.
The current approved OMB non-hour cost burden inventory is $392,874. In this submission, we are requesting a total of $988,210; which represents an adjustment increase of $595,336. While BSEE received fewer applications (service fees) this cycle, we inadvertently did not account for hiring Certified Verification Agents (CVAs) under the Platform Verification Program costs to operators in the last renewal cycle.
