Are you a household head receiving SNAP/formerly known as Food Stamps? We need you for a 90 minute interview (receive $75)

On behalf of United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Food and Nutrition Services (FNS), Westat is looking for adults 18 years and older to participate in an in-depth interview on
food shopping, meal preparation and eating habits during the week of [DATES]. Participants will receive $75 cash right after the interview. Participants must live in [LOCALE].


We want to talk to SNAP participants who are the head of the household. The interview will be in-person and will take 90 minutes. Two trained interviewers will come to your home to conduct the interview. With your permission, we would also like to take a tour of your kitchen and see where you eat.


All information you give us will be treated as private and will not affect any benefits you are receiving. No information about you will be shared with others outside the study team, except as otherwise required by law and you will not be put on a marketing/mailing list.
