These surveys are the primary means through which OSMRE evaluates its performance in meeting the performance goals outlined in its annual plans developed pursuant to the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA).

This information collection request will reduce the burden hours to 9, a reduction of 22 hours due to a reduction in use. While the percentage of surveys returned has stayed consistent at 71% in 2013 to 70% in 2016, funding and other initiatives reduced the technical programs recently.
