Abstract: Under 26 USC 5841. ATF requires State and local government entities wishing to register an abandoned or seized and previously unregistered National Firearms Act weapon to complete ATF F 10 The form is required whenever application for such a registration is made. The information properly identifies the registrant and the firearms to be registered.

Short Statement: There are no program changes associated with this collection. The number ofrespondents decreased from the previously cited fiscal year, resulting in adecrease of burden hours. The cost of an envelope for mailing paper forms wasincluded in the overall cost, which had not been considered previously, but due tothe decrease in respondents, the costs went down.
