Executive Summary Form: Receive feedback before completing your proposal

Potential proposers may (but are NOT required to) submit an executive summary to an SBIR/STTR
Program Director to help gauge whether a project meets the program's intellectual merit and commercial
impact criteria. The summary should discuss: the company and team; the market opportunity, value
proposition, and customers; the technology/innovation; the technical challenges to overcome; and the
competition. Do NOT include proprietary information in your executive summary.
Please note: If you are considering submitting a proposal, we recommend that you register ASAP with
SAM.gov (System for Award Management - https://www.sam.gov/portal/SAM/##11#1#1). This registration
process is free and takes only 10-15 minutes to initiate, but can take up to a month to complete. You MUST
have an active SAM.gov registration to create a FastLane account and submit a proposal to NSF.
