The purpose of the collection is for
APHIS to collect information from the repondents to document the
importation of horses, ruminants, swine, and dogs from regions
where screwworm is known to exist; and to further prevent the
importation of screwworm into the United States.

Agency refined its
interpretation of burden in the CFR and accounted for three
additional ICs for businesses - requests for health certificates,
declarations of importation, and scheduling of quarantine
facilities. The previous scope was limited to applying for import
permits.
