Project PrIDE (PrEP implementation, Data to Care & Evaluation) is a 3-year demonstration project (2015-2018) that supports 12 health departments to implement pre exposure prophylaxis and Data to Care programs for HIV prevention and care. Health Departments will prioritize men who have sex with men and transgender persons at risk for HIV infection and those diagnosed with HIV infection. The goals of PrIDE are consistent with the White House National HIV/AIDS Strategy to reduce HIV incidence, increase access to HIV care and optimize health outcomes, and reduce HIV-related health disparities.
