Thank you for your interest in our focus group. Let me explain to you what the field trial focus group will be about. If you are interested, I will need to get some information from you. We will not be scheduling you for a focus group today. If you are eligible, we will add your name to the list of potential participants. We need to get a group of available people together before we try to schedule a session.

Westat will be conducting the field trial focus groups for the Federal Government. The focus group will take about 2 hours and will take place at ______________ (fill in location). We are trying to understand the use patterns for recreational off-highway vehicles or ROV’s. ROV’s unlike ATV’s, have a steering wheel and car-like pedals. They also have bucket or bench seats rather than a motorcycle-like saddle. Usually, passengers sit beside the driver, though some have a rear seat to accommodate up to 4 people. There is no special knowledge or ability required to participate, other than being active as a user off-road vehicles. As part of the field trial, you will be asked to drive an ROV and complete various tasks. After the hands-on portion you will be asked to take part in a discussion and share your opinions. You will be paid $75 for your participation.
