time and manner of making the elections is necessary. These
regulations enable taxpayers to take advantage of the benefits of
various Code provisions.

following Sections are obsolete; Section 1002(a)(23)(B), Section
6011, Section 6026(a), Section 6026(b)(1). The following Sections
are elections that no longer can be made; Section 1006(d)(15),
Section 1006(j)(1)(C) ,Section 1006(t)(18)(B), Section 1011(a),
Section 1012(n)(3), Section 2004(j)(1), Section 4008(b)Section
2004(m)(5), and Section 6277. The total burden is being reduced by
651 hours and annual number of responses decreased by 2,365.
