The FHWA will collect information on
the current state of the practice, data, methods, and systems used
by state, metropolitan, regional, local, and tribal transportation
agencies entities to support their transportation performance
management processes in accordance with Moving Ahead for Progress
in the 21st Century (MAP-21) §§1106, 1112-1113, 1201-1203; 23 USC
119, 134-135, and 148-150, as amended by the Fixing America's
Surface Transportation (FAST) Act. This information will also be
used to develop and deliver existing and future Federal Highway
Programs through successful partnerships, value-added stewardship,
and risk-based oversight. Underpinning this effort will be a
renewed focus on enhancing organizational capacity, which
translates into having a skilled workforce and supporting systems
that are optimally positioned and equipped to deliver the FHWA's
mission. This collection is voluntary and will conducted
annually.
