Each of these forms is used to collect
information in connection with applications and notifications filed
by bank holding companies, state member banks, and individuals
prior to proposed changes in the ownership or management of banking
organizations. The Federal Reserve uses the information to evaluate
the controlling owners, senior officers, and directors of the
insured depository institutions subject to its oversight.

The decrease in burden hours
reflects an update to the FR 2081a, b, and c respondent count based
on the average of the number of respondents since the last renewal
in 2014.
