The U.S. National Committee for UNESCO, within the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of International Organization Affairs, awards a privately funded fellowship to a U.S. college student proposing to undertake activities that relate to the UNESCO mandate, including those that employ education, natural science, social and human sciences, culture, or communication and information--to build strong ties among nations. To award this fellowship, the State Department will collect information submitted by applicants.
