The NPRA Survey will provide essential data on the research and development activities performed and funded by nonprofit organizations in the U.S. The survey will allow NCSES to better understand the current range of nonprofits and help determine the most effective data collection questions and sampling protocols necessary to gather the nonprofit R&D expenditure data. The results of the survey will be another step toward producing valid and reliable estimates of nonprofit R&D activity in the U.S.
