Abstract: Depository institutions submit deposit data either weekly, quarterly, or annually. Larger depository institutions generally must submit deposit data more frequently than smaller ones. These mandatory data are used by the Federal Reserve for administering Regulation D (Reserve Requirements of Depository Institutions) and for constructing, analyzing, and monitoring the monetary and reserve aggregates.
