General Comment
I think that this is a great proposed project that will help bring awareness to
have better communications when disasters do arise. Being able to obtain
information and data is very important to help analyze what needs to be more
worked on and what needs to be continued on. In order to get an accurate set of
data, it is important that the two target populations are willing to cooperate.
Social Media is definitely a way to connect with people and tell announcements
as soon as possible. But one thing to consider is the age group, because each
generation have different ways in how they like to get their information.
Another important thing is the security of the information that is being used.
What software will you be using and how many times will you update the system so
that no information is leaked? Also within the 24 months will everything be
covered, what happens if you need more time? Other then that I think that this
will be a great project in helping understand the people and finding more
effective ways in getting information around faster/quicker.
