As part of its fishery management
responsibilities, National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) collects
information to determine the amount and type of groundfish caught
by fishing vessels. This collection supports requirements for first
receivers in the Pacific Coast sablefish fishery to account for all
landed catch and to send electronic catch data used to manage the
catch allocations and limits. The respondents are principally
shorebased first receivers. This change request transfers the efish
ticket and edfish ticket submission and efish ticket whiting
disposition recordkeeping. This now places the West Coast efish
tickets in one collection. A revision to 0619, transferring this
burden and a separate burden to 0620, has been submitted to
OMB.
