The DOL periodically sponsors events that require advance registration by persons wishing to attend. This ICR seeks PRA clearance for the Department of Labor Events Management Platform. This information helps ensure that attendees receive suitable accommodations (e.g., a large enough room with enough seating) while attending the DOL event. In addition, the information will help the DOL keep track of the types of entities that attend agency events. Such information can assist when developing lists of stakeholders.

This ICR is submitted to request an increase in the burden for this collection. The burden estimates used in clearing the most recent parent package were because no unique requests were submitted during the most recent clearance cycle. The Department is aware of two upcoming events that will need approval, and budget for the collection has already been hit. The new budget request is based on a prorating the burden for the length of time to reach the ceiling and extrapolating to the end of the current clearance cycle and then rounding. 2,600 responses/3 months*36 months = 31,200 responses. 250 hours/3 months*36 months = 3,000 hours. Other costs remain at $0.
